Rationale – Part 3 addresses the use of radio telephony communication between Pilot and Air Traffic Controller. The candidate listens to an excerpt and shows his language competency in his reply.

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. You will listen to FIVE excerpts of Radio Telephony Communication.
  2. Each excerpt will be played twice.
  3. You may make notes as you listen.
  4. You have to provide an appropriate answer after you hear the bell for each recording. Your answer is the pilot’s reply to the ATC at the end of the communication.
  5. You will now hear a sample recording with a question and its answer.
